{"id":1124,"date":"2022-02-09T19:34:31","date_gmt":"2022-02-09T19:34:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/136.144.160.41\/~cpa\/news\/use-of-plastic-pallets-in-uk-exports-is-growing\/"},"modified":"2025-06-13T07:06:33","modified_gmt":"2025-06-13T07:06:33","slug":"gebruik-van-plastic-pallets-voor-export-naar-het-vk-neemt-toe","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.circular-plastics-alliance.com\/nl\/nieuws\/gebruik-van-plastic-pallets-voor-export-naar-het-vk-neemt-toe\/","title":{"rendered":"Gebruik van plastic pallets voor Britse export neemt toe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Met Brexit, dat sinds 1 januari van dit jaar een feit is, zijn er veel nieuwe regels bijgekomen voor exporteurs van bloemen en planten naar het Verenigd Koninkrijk.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Een van de nieuwe uitdagingen bij het exporteren naar het Verenigd Koninkrijk is het type pallet dat wordt gebruikt. Bij transport naar bestemmingen buiten de Europese Unie moeten houten pallets voldoen aan de ISPM-15 regelgeving. Dit betekent dat houten pallets een HT-behandeling moeten ondergaan om de verspreiding van organismen in het hout te voorkomen.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Daarom hebben veel bedrijven het type pallet dat ze gebruikten voor de export van bloemen moeten heroverwegen. Mede door de schaarste aan hout hebben meer bedrijven gekozen voor kunststof pallets.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.circular-plastics-alliance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/pallet.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"596\" height=\"406\"\/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Dit ziet ook commercieel directeur bij Palletcentrale, Frank Bennemeer. \"In 2021 zien we veel bloemenexporteurs op zoek gaan naar een partij die HT-behandelde pallets kan leveren. Omdat de beschikbaarheid van houten pallets onder druk staat en de prijzen hoger liggen, wordt de kunststof pallet een realistisch alternatief binnen deze sector. Kunststof pallets hoeven niet HT-behandeld te worden. Veel bedrijven uit deze sector kochten dit jaar lichte nestbare kunststof pallets bij ons. We zagen een stijging van 80% in verkochte kunststof pallets. Een groot deel van deze stijging deed zich voor bij bedrijven die exporteren naar het Verenigd Koninkrijk. Een bijkomend voordeel is dat dit type in elkaar kan worden gestapeld en weinig ruimte in beslag neemt.\"<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Palletcentrale benadrukt dat kunststof pallets ook circulair kunnen zijn.
