Dit in samenwerking met Circular Plastics en Cabka, leverancier en producent van herbruikbare kunststof pallets. De overstap naar kunststof retourpallets voor gevelstenen resulteert in aanzienlijk minder afval en verlaagt de CO2-footprint.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Circulariteit, afvalreductie en vermindering van de CO2-footprint zijn belangrijke speerpunten van de bouwkeramische industrie. Daarom nemen baksteenfabrikanten verenigd in KNB het initiatief om over te stappen van houten wegwerppallets naar kunststof retourpallets, gemaakt van 100% kunststofafval. Het initiatief sluit naadloos aan bij de duurzaamheidsambities van de keramische sector en is onderdeel van de Technology Roadmap Bouwkeramiek 2030. Het collectief van de baksteenproducenten aangesloten bij brancheorganisatie KNB en Circular Plastics \/ Cabka werken samen om de kunststof retourpallet voor metselbakstenen marktrijp te maken.<\/p>\n<p>De baksteenfabrikanten hebben het initiatief genomen om de haalbaarheid van herbruikbare retourpallets voor bakstenen te onderzoeken. Dit heeft geresulteerd in een universeel toepasbare kunststof oplossing als alternatief voor de traditionele houten HULO pallet met afmetingen 1140 mm (L) x 420 mm (B). Om de effectiviteit van de pallets en hun rendement in de praktijk te bewijzen, volgen er proefprojecten in de bouw met medewerking van de bouwmaterialenhandel en vier aannemers. Daarna volgt de uitrol in de markt. De nestbare kunststof pallets nemen minder ruimte in, gaan 10 tot 20 keer langer mee en dienen na hun hele levensduur als grondstof voor een nieuwe pallet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keramische bouwindustrie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De fabrikanten die samenwerken in de branchevereniging Koninklijke Nederlandse Bouwkeramiek (KNB) produceren gevel- en straatbakstenen, keramische dakpannen, keramische binnenmuurstenen en gebakken wand- en vloertegels. De bouwkeramische industrie heeft een omzet van ongeveer 750 miljoen euro (2022) en biedt direct werk aan meer dan 2.500 mensen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ROND PLASTIC\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Circular Plastics heeft al verschillende duurzame circulaire verpakkings- en transportoplossingen ontwikkeld die een positieve bijdrage leveren aan de ecologie en CO2-voetafdruk met minder milieubelasting en minder eenmalig gebruik van schaarse grondstoffen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CABKA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Al meer dan 25 jaar verandert Cabka de manier waarop goederen over de hele wereld worden vervoerd. Plastic afval wordt omgezet in duurzame, 100% circulaire plastic pallets en containers.
