Dit doen ze onder andere door kunststoffen in te zamelen voor recycling, waardoor waardevolle grondstoffen hergebruikt kunnen worden.<\/p>\n<p>Gedeputeerde Esther Rommel: \"De provincie zet zich in voor een circulaire, toekomstbestendige economie. Daarom ondersteunen we bedrijven die echt impact willen maken. De bij de alliantie aangesloten MKB-bedrijven komen uit Noord-Holland en Zuid-Holland en vormen een krachtige community. De provinciale subsidie wordt gebruikt om de alliantie verder te professionaliseren en nieuwe partners aan te trekken om de alliantie te laten groeien. Dit leidt tot meer samenwerking, een afname van het gebruik van eenmalige plastic verpakkingen en een vermindering van de CO2-uitstoot.\"<\/p>\n<p>Circular Plastics Alliance is een initiatief dat in 2019 is opgericht door verschillende bedrijven met jarenlange ervaring in plastic recycling, verpakkingsontwerp, productie en logistiek. De aangesloten bedrijven helpen elkaar om duurzamer te worden door samenwerkingen op te zetten, evenementen te organiseren, te lobbyen, onderzoek te doen en kennis te delen.
