Mepal teams up with the academy to start their sustainable quest
We are proud to announce that we have started an improvement project of their sustainable textile services in collaboration with our Circular Plastics Alliance partner Lamme Textile Management and the Cibutex cooperative. The aim of this project is to explore the textile chain and identify opportunities for further sustainability.
Working together with Lamme and Cibutex for a more sustainable textile chain
We are proud to announce that we have started an improvement project of their sustainable textile services in collaboration with our Circular Plastics Alliance partner Lamme Textile Management and the Cibutex cooperative. The aim of this project is to explore the textile chain and identify opportunities for further sustainability.
Lamme is already involved in various projects within Circular Plastics Alliance and is now looking for new opportunities to make a sustainable impact internally, but also together with customers and partners. As a member of Cibutex, Lamme also plays a role in making the broader textile industry more sustainable. With their rich knowledge and experience, they can be a catalyst for new improvements.
To kick off the project, we met with our chain and Alliance partner Kras Recycling. Here the films that Lamme uses are collected and converted into plastic that is then used for new films at Lamme. This collaboration forms a great basis for further building on our joint sustainability goals.
