Meet Beologic
Beologic joins the Circular Plastics Alliance as a new partner
The Circular Plastics Alliance (CPA) welcomes Beologic as a new member of its network. The Belgian company specializes in the development and production of high-quality compounds based on recycled, bio-based and biodegradable polymers. With a strong focus on technical material design, Beologic supports companies in both making existing products more sustainable and developing new circular applications.
In recent years, Beologic has further expanded its activities towards the valorization of post-industrial waste, overstocks and one-off material batches. Its in-house laboratory plays a key role: through in-depth material characterizations, the team understands the properties of every material stream and can determine exactly which customers and applications it is suitable for. In this way, valuable materials are prevented from ending up as waste.
Beologic stands out for its technical bridging role between waste streams and high-performance materials. Lifecycle thinking, deep process knowledge and transparent communication form the foundation of its approach. CPA and Beologic previously discussed the company’s current sustainability efforts, including the use of 100% green electricity (of which 30% is self-generated), the transition to a fully electric vehicle fleet and the implementation of closed-loop solutions. For example, Beologic has been working for more than ten years on a circular pathway for synthetic wine corks.
In addition, Beologic remains one of the leading players in rotational moulding. With its recently expanded in-house R&D centre, the company supports customers in material selection, testing recyclates, evaluating new designs and conducting comparative studies between conventional gas ovens, hydraulic systems and electric rotational moulding processes. Through these efforts, Beologic actively contributes to innovation, energy efficiency and new circular applications within the rotomoulding sector.
Within CPA, Beologic sees opportunities to leverage the power of the network and value chain collaboration to initiate concrete sustainable projects and strategically position itself closer to recyclate sources, enabling short, reliable and cost-efficient value chains. The alliance also offers opportunities to jointly address public markets, where circularity is increasingly becoming a key factor in procurement processes.
With the addition of Beologic, the Circular Plastics Alliance further strengthens its position as a platform for companies committed to taking concrete steps towards circular plastics. Together, we are building the next generation of sustainable plastic solutions.
