Summary online meet-up on Circular Construction

On Thursday, February 19, the first online meet-up on Circular Construction took place. A session created specifically for professionals in construction, demolition and infrastructure who want to make circularity tangible and practical.

On behalf of the Community ESG in Practice, sustainability managers, board members and project leads came together to discuss what truly works. No abstract models, but practical experiences, lessons learned and examples from ongoing projects.

The central question was: “How do you start a sustainable demolition or construction project that actually helps you win tenders?”

With guest speaker Mark Mesink from Duspot, and in collaboration with Circular Plastics Alliance, the session explored successful circular projects and supply chain collaborations in greater depth.

What was discussed?
• How to build a circular supply chain collaboration step by step
• How organisations have successfully launched circular projects
• How to embed circularity structurally within your organisation
• How to translate the transition into commercial opportunities

Practical questions were also addressed: how do you get started quickly, what are the quick wins, and which collaborations have already proven successful? You can read the summary here: VIEW SUMMARY

As Circular Plastics Alliance, we support this initiative to share knowledge, create connections and further accelerate circular construction. Are you active in the construction sector and interested in joining future sessions? Then feel free to get in touch with us.
