Customized implementation

Circular Plastics Academy uses the Scrum methodology. This means that projects are divided into subtasks and delivered in short periods called sprints. This provides stakeholders the opportunity to provide feedback more frequently.

A project consists of two parallel processes:

  • First, we work on the development of a circular system for your company or organization. For example, implementing zero waste or setting up return systems for reusable packaging.
  • Second, we develop a customized training program for your company or organization to ensure the success of the change resulting from the developed circular system.

Workshops

A workshop is a way to introduce one or multiple training/project subjects in an interactive way. Participants will gain insights and are encouraged to take the first step towards change.

It can be conducted for a single company internally or in a group setting involving multiple companies, providing the opportunity to expand networks and boost collaboration.

Subjects

  • Setting circular goals
  • Zero Waste
  • R-Strategies
  • Regulations and change management
  • Sustainable packaging
  • Closed loop

Modules

Our modules can be part of a project, but are also offered separately.

waste-scan academy

Waste Scan

Deep dive into waste streams and find opportunities to handle waste differently for more cost-effective results and better recyclability. By collaborating with Circular Plastics Alliance members, we can achieve the most efficient results for your organization.

lifecycle Customized implementation

Life Cycle Assessment

Fast-track LCA for various scenarios; for example to compare competitor data or product vs packaging impact.

roadmapping Customized implementation

Roadmapping

Facilitating a workshop to explore future projects and identify possible risks and opportunities. Together, we assess the current situation and set a goal for the future.

(multiple months)

Projects

In a project, we work together to create lasting change. We start by exploring possibilities, risks, and assumptions, which we then integrate with workshops and modules. The outcome is implementation in the form of specific solutions and training. An example is the project we did for Dutch Flower Group, in which we aimed to reach their sustainability goals. For more examples, see ‘Cases.’

How much waste is generated? What more can be separated? What is the current workflow? Why do employees work this way?

Why do things need to change? How can the company change?

Workflow adaptation (visual cues, clear logistics, mandatory training & quiz)
