Sustainable prefab solutions
Kwakman has made significant progress in implementing customized prefabricated elements in interior construction and their logistical supply. Often developed in collaboration with construction team partners, these elements are designed in 3D by their BIM engineers, produced in-house, and optionally equipped with technical installations. The benefits include highly efficient assembly, minimal waste and dust, and significantly reduced transport movements.
With innovative tools such as the circular and demountable plastic Stack-Up Pallet, Kwakman not only limits walking and transport movements but also reduces CO2 emissions on the construction site.
A key focus for Kwakman is reducing and better organizing waste streams. By collaborating with partners such as CPA member GP Groot and establishing direct agreements with manufacturers, efforts are being made to minimize packaging. This approach aligns seamlessly with Kwakman’s vision: drastically reducing CO2 emissions and ensuring that waste is properly managed.
