The BMN Group, member of the Circular Plastics Alliance, stands for corporate social responsibility. They know better than anyone how important it is that sustainable construction is increasingly given priority. That is why they offer customers innovative solutions that are not only sustainable, but also efficient and cost-saving.

All this is included in the ESG program of BMN and their Greenworks label. They strive to be and remain the reference in sustainable construction by supplying the most sustainable range of building materials, which can be recognized by the Greenworks label. Each Greenworks product has a product information sheet that states the sustainable characteristics of the product, such as information about raw materials, production, application and packaging. It is also stated which labels, certificates and quality marks (FSC®, PEFC™, DuboKeur, Cradle to Cradle) the product complies with.

The collaboration between BMN and Circular Plastics Alliance started three years ago. We have now reached the point where we have our own setup at the Greenworks Academy in Apeldoorn. Here we explain the closed loop that we, as chain director, are rolling out together with BMN. For this purpose, Jaap Buis (Circular Plastics) and Nadine Sciarli (Circular Plastics Alliance) handed over the tombstone to Michael Bool (BMN). This symbolizes the cooperation between the chain partner and BMN.

What exactly does the closed loop with BMN mean? You will find Circular Bags at all BMN and DC locations. All packaging films are collected here from customers and internal flows. All flows are centralized at the BMN DCs, which have a special press at their disposal to make bales. These are then transported to Kras Recycling. There the films are recycled into a mono, high-quality, new raw material. We make 100% recycled, new packaging materials from the raw material, which are used by BMN for logistics packaging.
