Duurzaamheidsbeleid
Building is for the long term. This is how they think as a knowledge partner and supplier of mortars, leveling compounds and adhesives. That is why they do as much as possible in balance with society, the environment and the economy. A sustainable policy in raw materials, production and packaging has been a permanent point of attention at Omnicol for years. With the theme: ‘Green down to the fibers’.
De afgelopen jaren hebben ze meer kaders gekregen om al deze initiatieven in te passen. Omnicol heeft hier bijvoorbeeld voor gekozen door de Sustainable Development Goals van de Verenigde Naties te integreren in de bedrijfsvoering, ISO14001 te certificeren en EcoVadis te gebruiken als onafhankelijke partij om duurzaamheidsinitiatieven te beoordelen. Ze blijven zichzelf, partners en klanten uitdagen om verder te verbeteren waar mogelijk.
Samen met Circular Plastics Alliance willen ze hun PCR-aandeel binnen verpakkingen vergroten en streven naar een plasticvrije bouwplaats. Dit is volledig in lijn met de doelstellingen van CPA.
