On Monday 17 June, Circular Plastics Academy, this time together with CPA partner Paardekooper, organised another workshop:
Reuse in your supply chain: new ideas & good discussions

We share with you the report of our Academy colleagues about this day:

We brainstormed about new ways to do business more sustainably and our participants left activated with tools to involve partners in their chain in sustainable change!

During the workshop we discussed:

* Why Reuse Is Essential For A Circular Economy
* Which regulations are coming up regarding reuse (from the PPWR )
* Practical strategies to apply reuse in your own supply chain

Elske van Paardekooper talked about the various reusable products that Paardekooper has on the market, and about the learnings they have collected and can share. Hein from RTI Blockchain shared his knowledge about blockchain technology and how it can contribute to a more transparent and efficient reuse chain.

Using a worksheet, we immediately set the participants to work to identify opportunities for reuse within their own organization. Lots of interaction, and a positive atmosphere with valuable discussions and questions such as “how do I ensure that packaging comes back”?

Jesse, from textile laundry Lamme shared: The workshop has given us new ideas on how we can bring even more circularity back to our customers.”

Together with our Alliance partners, we have taken great steps towards circularity in various chains. Thanks to the participants for their enthusiasm, and Elske for the organization!
