Zondervan Groep is a leading installation company with over 100 permanent employees and a flexible network of long term partner companies with whom it has worked closely and sustainably for many years. The company specializes in renovation and transformation projects, with dedicated teams for each discipline. Managed by a single central service desk, the service and maintenance department provides daily maintenance in the fields of plumbing and climate technology.

Sustainability and social responsibility are at the core of the company’s philosophy. Through its own Academy, Zondervan trains around 15 students each year, with the goal of guiding 3 to 4 of them annually towards becoming fully qualified independent technicians. In addition, the company offers opportunities to people with a distance to the labour market.

Sustainability is addressed at multiple levels within the organisation. Waste streams are separated, service technicians return used materials, and the vehicle fleet is being converted step by step to fully electric, with twelve electric vans recently ordered. Routes are planned efficiently to reduce CO₂ emissions, deliveries are bundled per project, and the warehouse is digitally organised to prevent waste. Zondervan is also exploring ways to further reduce or reuse plastic and cardboard waste streams, including through local initiatives and potential closed loop solutions.

Joining the Circular Plastics Alliance fits seamlessly with this approach. Zondervan Groep recognises the strength of CPA in bringing together clients, suppliers and construction partners within one network. The focus is on knowledge sharing, support and jointly realising circular improvements across the value chain. With its practical experience in logistics, service operations and sustainable business practices, Zondervan aims to actively contribute to CPA chain projects and, together with the various construction companies within the alliance, work towards a circular future for the construction sector.
